Special thanks to the Perry200 Float volunteers that stayed till 8pm to ensure we build a great float to represent our agency. Our committee will be reaching out to all members personally to invite you to participate in this historic event.
I look forward to working with all of our volunteers.

  6. Deb I am happy to see that you could post. Sr Carolanne is still having trouble. We may have to figure this out. Thanks again for being at the meeting and your contribution to the float. I will have more info soon I meet with Pat this Thursday. We had 14 volunteers last night would like to double that on the Mar 5th meeting. I am hoping that one or two of the them will speak about what they have done places they have visited and what they get out of it.

  7. Thanks to the volunteers that were at Barnes & Noble tonight. Shawna, from Edinboro University, was there to interview us for the school newspaper. Shawna was able to chat with a seasoned volunteers Cathy with Bradley, myself with Shania, and also with newer volunteers Eric with Dilly, Marian with Malcolm, and Lori with Max. She had a great interaction with us and took away what I hope was great info for her article. The article will be published February 14th, she will bring in copies to Barnes for us to see. I would like to add that the agency was represented well and look forward to seeing the great article! Thanks again for every ones participation,

  8. Today I registered for the Highmark walk. The site allows you the ability to share on your facebook page to encourage support. Tonight my friend and classmate, Darlene, who teaches in Hawaii pledged $25 for the agency I support. I have not seen her for 30 years I am blessed with great friends who share my passion for TDU!

  9. Today, with Pat's assistance, a letter was sent with our application for a grant to help with the cost of building the float for the Perry 200 parade. Keep your fingers crossed that we get (hopefully) the max amount. Will know the result by Mar 1st. I will share the news as soon as I get notified. Woof!
